QuestionI an entering the third year with the above mentioned geums. They look so healthy..all nice and green and green and green. YUP! not a bloom to be had. Yes they are in full sun and well drained. We live in upstate NY and are sold often here in local nurseries. The local supplier was stumped when asked. Please please help. I long to see see pretty yellow or red blooms. Thanks alot for reading my story of "woe"

Thanx for your question. Well, I'm stumped too. If the plant appears healthy, it should have bloomed the second season and subequent seasons. The only other thing I would recommend is adding a fertilizer low in Nitrogen. If you have too much nitrogen, you'll have more green. Look for something higher in Potassium and Phosphorus. Get a fertilizer rated for flowering perennials instead of Micacle Gro or balanced fertilizers. I hope this helps.
