QuestionTom, I am trying to get dinner plate hibiscus seeds to germinate. I put them in potting soil and keep the dirt moist all of the time. What am I doing wrong?
AnswerHi Kathy,
Thanx for your question. It can take up to a month for the hard little hibiscus seeds to germinate but they will. Make sure the environment is warm too 75-80 degrees F. Keep the soil moist but not soggy. In the future, soak your seeds overnight in warm water. I hope this helps.
Tom
