Saw where you were looking to grow lirope from seed two years ago.  did you have good luck?  I have a verbal lead on a HUGE order for this as divisions to be potted up into pints for a big complex being built in Memphis, so I need a pickup truck full (or 2), mowed and then sliced with a sod cutter so I can then work it up further at my place.  Do ou or any of you viewers  within a 2 hour drive of Memphis have some they could be traded out of?  Where in North Alabama are you from?  i'm orginally from Lamar County, al near columbus, ms.  tia

Hi Donna,
Thanx for your question.  I am not from North Alabama so I think you must have me confused with someone else.  I lived in NW Florida for 3 years back in the early to mid-80s.  I don't recall looking for Liriope seed but I do recall discussing it.  I am from the Kansas City area so that's quite a distance from Lamar County, Alabama.  I don't know of any large quantities of Liriope for trade or sale other than commercial, wholesale nurseries.  Take care.
