Questiona.k.a: Argyranthemum frutescens supalight. I live in zone 7 where this is considered an annual. I want to save this plant and somehow winterize it so it will come back next season. Do I have a prayer?
Thanks,
Suzanne
AnswerSuzanne,
Sorry to tell you this is an annual plant. If you have a garage that is heated(no lower than 45 degrees), I would TRY to cut it back to about 8" and keep is just a bit moist--maybe you CAN winter it!? Cutting it back will make the stems bush out. So don't hesitate to cut them throughout the winter. I've done so with other plants!
