Should I cut  back the plant after their blooming season is over?

Hi Lou,
Thanx for your question.  Don't do anything with the daylilies until autum when their leaves start to turn brown.  Right now, the leaves are gathering energy from the sun to convert sugars for storage in their rhizomes for next years growth and bloom.  I hope this helps.
