QuestionI live in northern Alabama. Last fall I planted chrysanthemums in a flower bed, seeing that they are popular flowers for that time of the year. Here it is June and they are ready to bloom again. I don't mind having "fall" flowers in summer, but I want to know if they will bloom again this fall.
AnswerLisa,
Isn't this weather pattern changing the blooming habits of the plants?????? I am in Mebraska and there are things blooming that shouldn't be blooming too!!
I would let the chrysanthemums bloom, then when they are looking "ratty" cut them all down about 2-3". You might get another bloom from them this fall!
PLEASE let me know if that works!! I know that several of my plants are re-bloomers that usually are only one timers-but with this weather ----who knows!!
