Question
Hi,
I have some Aster 'Wild Romance' in my garden. They have very pretty flower in the fall.
My problem is that they grow too high, about 4.5 feet. Is there any ways I can keep them below 3 feet? Can I just trim them on the top?
Thanks a lot,
ywu
AnswerHi YWU,
Thanx for your question. PInch your asters back 6-8 inches at least once before July 4th of this year. Just like chrysanthemums, asters will be stockier and bushier if they are pinched back one or more times before July. I hope this helps.
