Hi Tom!

I just bought two Super Mammoth elephant ears. I think I've finally figured out which end is the top (concentric circles end) but I can't find out information about whether they like sun or shade. Can you help? Thanks!

Hi Hillary,
Thanx for your question.  The top part of the bulb will be somewhat flatter and it will have a pink or brown "bellybutton" or growing point at the center.  Elephant ears love full sun but they also love lots of water (they're from the jungle) but they will also grow well in full to partial shade.  I've grown them in complete shade and they do fine.  I hope this helps.
