QuestionHello there. I live in Ontario Canada. My relatives came here in the mid 1800's from Scotland. I have this rose that is a piece off of one at the old farmstead that was brought over from Scotland. No one seems to know what it is..and I have never seen one anywhere else. This rose has been known as a Moss Rose by my family....and blooms in June...very fragrant. The original bush was about 6 feet tall, the rose is pink and underneath the flower is this lacey green mosslike stuff. Thank you for any help you might give me. I have pictures...and would be happy to send them if anyone would like to see it. Janet my e-mail is

AnswerHi Janet,
Thanx for your question. I am not a rose expert. There is a separate section of Rose experts on the AllExperts website. I would like to direct you to Lynette Payne. It would appear to me from her profile that she might be able to answer your question. I hope this helps.
thx,
Tom
