hi tom i have asked Q's of you b4 so i put perennials instead of cactus. my Q is about a tricausouris (a white flower ) im here in AZ. i saw this cactus for sale @ home depo for 60.00$ my Q when is the best time to plant? i have a rock garden like everybody else. the purfect spot with a touch of shade.  thanx

Thanx for your question.  I am honored by your confidence in me to ask me another question.  By the way, I lived in Phoenix from 1978-1980.  I loved cacti before I came to Arizona.  Half of my heritage is Mexican and my grandmother grew nopales (prickly pear) in her garden.  I have grown a lot of cacti in my time.  However, I can't find tricausouris.  Do you have another name for this cactus?
