QuestionI have just transplanted a number of daylillies. As its late September, should I cut them back? About half the leaves are standing and the other half are on the ground, sort of bruised during the process.
Thanks
AnswerHey Boyd,
Thanx for your question. Go ahead and cut your plants back if they look messy. Personally, I'd leave the green leaves until they start to brown or until first frost because the plants can always use some added energy from the sun. The dead or brown leaves, go ahead and remove them. I hope this helps.
