Thank you for your time.  I wanted some suggestions for some lower price August-September/November perenial plants and flowers to brighten up my flower bed.  My day lilies are starting to die out, and I want something to withstand a frost or two.  Thank you, Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,
Thanx for your question.  I live in the Kansas City area and for years it was chrysanthemums.  It still is...BUT! Now we have asters and they are wonderful.  Tons of new varieties of asters at the garden centers.  How about ornamental kale?  Johnny jump-ups?  Viola?
