why do my tomatos get rot bottom?

Hi Donna,
Thanx for your question.  What you describe is blossom-end rot.  It's cause by water deficiencies.  During especially hot, dry days, the tomato plant will divert all water from fruit development to keeping the plant alive.  I hope this helps.
