Question -
we have 4 varigated dogwood bushes..we have the onset of pink leaves....this happened to two others and we lost them......we "shotgunned" them with a "cocktail" of fungus control and insect control...and also fertilized with miracle grow..........what does this sound like?

Thanx for the follow up. I have done a ton of research on this. I have my own ideas too. The onset color of the leaves, I believe, has nothing to do with what eventually developed into the demise of some of your "bushes". I know nothing of your soil conditions, where you live and what the weather conditions are there, rain fall etc. Therefore, it is impossible for me to give you a straightforward answer. One think I think would help is for you to tell me you state and county and I can refer you to the Extension Service and they may be able to give you the answers for which you are looking.
