QuestionI have day lillies that will bloom until middle to late July. Then the blooms seem to dry up & the only thing left is a black seed or something. What can I do to correct this? Is there anything I can do to make them bloom longer?
AnswerHi Sheril,
Thanx for your question. What you describe is not a problem but the natural life cycle of your day lilies. The plants bloom, produce seed and then stop blooming. You can't do anything to make the daylilies bloom longer. It is natural for them to perform this way. I hope this helps.
