QuestionWhen yellow lillies are done blooming do they need cut back an how long after finished? Thank you
AnswerHi Sue,
Thanx for your question. I would cut off the spent blooms but don't cut off any of the leaves. The leaves are storing sugars for next years bloom and growth. Once you have had a frost or in the autumn if the leaves turn brown and shrivel then you may trim them off without harming the plant. I hope this helps.
