Drooping Hydrangea

Question
Hi Laura

I have a pink potted hydrangea that has 2 large blooms on it, the other 2 that hasn't opened yet and their accomodating leaves are sagging and beginning to curl.

what do you think is the problem?

thank you in advance for your help.

Answer
Misty,
Well, since Hydrangeas are not blooming yet,I am assuming this is a florist Hydrangea in a plastic pot. Is this true?
If so,it is probably a "forced" plant.Meaning,it was produced in a greenhouse and put under lights and forced to bloom for the florist indutry. You may want to try and repot it into a larger pot or outdoors to see if it will eventually take to the real climate. It may take a few years to do that and it may not produce anything at all.You can try though.
