I have a beautiful magazine photo of a bunch of lilacs & peonies. Where I live in northern Ohio,
lilacs are done blooming by the time peonies come out. Where would they be in bloom simultaneously?

Possibly in a southern state where things bloom earlier and stay in bloom a bit longer. Also,there are always new varities of Lilacs and peonies being introduced so perhaps they were new hybrids of some sort. And again,sometimes you can't always believe what you see in magazines.Everything is always perfect and blooming.But I guess that's what sells magazines.
