QuestionI recently purchased a white bird of paradise and im trying to grow it in san jose, CA. I am worried that it might die since it gets pretty cold here during winter. Also, i know to not overwater it so i just watered it once after i replant it in the ground. Now currently, too much rain has poured and i dont know how to keep it from gettin too much water. please help me before i lose my white bird of paradise.

As long as your soil is well drained and water doesn't stand for extended periods, your plant should be fine as far as the wetness goes. If the area does not drain well and tends to be damp, I would move the plant. I hope this helps.
