QuestionI have a small fish pond and planted Iris in it. My question is. can I remove then and plant them in my flower garden? I also want ifo on how to plant anc care for them. Thanks
AnswerHi Jimmy,
Thanx for your question. Most irises that grow in ponds will also grow on dry land. Japanese iris, Virginia iris, Louisiana iris all love wet feet so they do well at the edge of a pond. They will also grow in a garden but, you will get best results if you make sure their growing area is much more moist, even soggier than their other land plant relatives. Hope this helps.
