AnswerHi William,
Great to hear from someone from the South. I lived in Fort Walton Beach for 3 years back in the 80s. The best time to harvest liriope seeds will be in December or January after the plant has set the berries. The key is to look for the berries and give the plant 30 days after the berries have set. Let the berries have a couple of weeks of cool temperatures and then plant the seeds about 1/4 inch below the surface of the soil. Liriope also self-seed. I hope this helps.
