Question
I recently received two plants  from a neighbour who called them william and Mary but she did not know the proper name. I looked on the internet but could not find anything about the plant. Can you help?

Hi Bob,
I believe the plant you are referring to as William and Mary is also known as Bloody William and Bloody Mary or Rose Campion (Lychnis coronaria).  Hardy to zones 3-9.  Grows in most climates.  Is a perennial.  It's a relatively easy plant to grow.  Blooms in the summer time.  I hope this helps.
