AnswerHello Gratziella,
Thank you for your question. I have been to Scotland before but have never been to Romania. Perhaps some day.
Peppers require warm temperatures in which to germinate. Press the seeds into damp but not soggy potting soil and lightly cover with a little more soil. Keep the temperature warm at about 24C and it will take up to 2 weeks to germinate. When the seeds have germinated put the pots in an area that gets a lot of light and is a bit cooler at about 18C. Once the seedlings have a second set of leaves and are at least 6-10 centimeters tall you should take the pots outside and place them in an area that is protected from direct sunlight, rain, wind and extremes in temperatures for about a week. The seedlings need this period to adapt to outdoor conditions. After that, plant the seedlings in direct sunlight wherever you like. Remember, peppers will generally stop setting fruit if the outdoor temperature rises to 32C or higher or goes down to 13C or lower. I hope this helps.
