QuestionI bought some perennial seed of various kinds, can i just plant them outside or do i have to start them inside in a container?
AnswerHi Amanda,
Thanx for your question. You may start them indoors which is easier than trying to fight the weeds if you sow the seeds directly outdoors. Some seeds like poppies, don't transplant well anyway and are best sown outdoors. If you have had your last frost you can sow the seeds outdoors and just try to keep the weeds down. Follow the directions on the seed packet. They usually have a drawing of what the seedling will look like.
thx,
Tom
