Question

Rose Bush   I have a rose bush topiary shaped in a ball and live in Pasadena, CA.  The rose bush is beautiful, a real show stopper, but it needs to be cut back and I am wanting to know the best time of year for cutting back?

Who says does it need to be cut back? Looks good to me.
Best time is around Feb when all the other roses are pruned back however anytime you prune it is fine as it will come back.

I would probably not prune in the heat of summer, so I would wait now until Oct or Nov to cut it back or even wait till Feb to do it right.
Otherwise if it is important to prune, do it now before temps start to rise.
