QuestionHello
I would like know if my knockout roses are dying from transplanting them to a new place. I transplanted 3 roses. Only two look like they are dying. The leaves are brown and the leaves are dark red. The entire tree is wilted. The rose was removed with its roots attached. I watered the new area before placing the roses there. Please tell me what to do?
AnswerHello Rashema,
It is definitely transplant shock. You will need to water them everyday for the rest of the summer. Make sure you saturate the ground/hole they are in. Also, cut the plant back by half. This will help save energy for the plant.
Good luck. I cannot make it easy but it is going to be hard to get them to live in this extreme heat.
