QuestionMy daughter received some roses from her fiance' about a week and a half ago. She put them in water, and now they have started growing new leaves. We would like to root them, but are unsure how to go about it. Can you help us please? They are very beautiful, and I would hate for them to go to waste.
Thank you so much for your time.
Susan
AnswerHi Susan,
Here is a link to explaining the rooting process of roses by Kitty Belendez. She is great in her details on how to do this.
Please do not get discouraged if they do not root. Sometimes cutflower growers treat their roses to not root and there is no way to tell if they have been treated.

It is fun to try.
Hope this helps,
