I have some standard roses under my ornamental cherry tree. The tree is infested with a small black beetle and now they are falling on my roses how much damage can they do?

The leaves of roses make the food for the rose bush to grow and survive. If the beetles are eating the rose leaves, then they are doing damage to the roses. An organic solution to the beetles would be placing material that is like a bridal veil over the roses will protect them and they will be able to get rain and air through the material. There are also sprays that will kill the beetles and will not harm the roses.
