QuestionI planted 2 knockout roses last year and they were doing very well with lots of blossoms. This year, I see a bunch of white spots on the leaves and the leaves seem to all be full of holes. It seems as though something is chewing them but I've seen not one bug, worm or anything else on the leaves or undersides of the leaves. I'm also including a few pictures of the rose leaves.
AnswerSorry, your pictures didn't come through. There is a rose pest called a Roseslug and it feeds on the undersides of the rose leaves. This in time makes holes in them. Any rose spray that is for Rose Slugs or sometimes they are called Sawflies, will solve your problem. Don't forget to also spray all around the base of the rose bush ass that is where they hide when not feeding.
