QuestionWhat is the difference between the knockout roses and the nearly wild roses and which will likely produce more blooms in the season? I live in SE Wisconsin and I am purchasing 10-12 for in the front of my home, looking for lots of blooms in color, but I am confused which one to purchase. Thank you.
AnswerBoth are very good roses. Nearly Wild is a beautiful single soft pink but a smaller bush (3 feet tall and wide) than the Knock Out one. But if the cold winters are your concern, then Knock Out will be the hardiest rose so I would go with that one. You could always get a couple of the Nearly Wild if you like them and just see how they survive in comparison with the Knock Out roses. Nearly wild is a very hardy rose too.
