Larva maybe
I found this on my rose bush...hoping you can tell me what it is, it looks like some type of larva...thanks, Lana
AnswerLooks interesting and you are right, it is some kind of larva. Which means they will hatch and then munch away on your rose leaves! The harlequin bug is the only one I know of that lays black an white eggs. But yours are black because the larvae are ready to hatch and the white are still eggs. In a world filled with millions of insects it is impossible to accurately identify them unless you are an entomologist.
