QUESTION: My good friends husband just passed away today and I was wondering if there is a rose that has the name Alex in it or Bentley? It would be wonderful if there is one because I want to get her a living memorial rose. Thank you

ANSWER: The only rose I can find in my rose data base is a hybrid tea from Harkness Roses in England called Alexander. It is a fairly popular rose so you should be able to get it in North America if that is where you live. Please get back to me if you are interested in obtaining this rose and I will search for a supplier for you if you tell me the main large city where you live.

Vintage Gardens a well known rose nursery in Sebastopol California, list Alexander as one of their hybrid teas.
