QuestionI didn't even have the roses planted yet and it got cold and all of the growth on the plants died. Are the bushes totally dead or can I cut off the dead parts and plant them?
AnswerThere is always hope so cut the rose bushes back to about 12 inches making sure you cut off all the dead parts. Plant them and then make sure you water well until you see new growth and then you can pull back on the daily watering. Roses are able to put out three sets of leaves before it actually effects their vigour and makes them die.
