Stink Bugs

Question
I have 25 rosebushes, miniatures, knockouts, grandiflora, floribunda, several hybrid tea's and a climber. They are all doing so well, growing and blooming like crazy. I'm very proud of how well they are doing. The problem is that I now have Stink Bugs sucking the new growth and young buds dry. I have researched online and discovered that they are resistant to most pesticides. What can you suggest to get rid of these pest? So far the only thing that has worked is to crush them when I see them. I'm in the Tampa, Florida area-Zone 9

Answer
Stink Bugs tend to hide is any greenery that is around the roses when not eating so try and keep the area free of plants for now. Then use any spray that has  Deltamethrin sp? in it such as Vegetables Plus Permethrin or D-Force HPX. Just Google these and read what they do. The Vegetables Plus is a liquid that you mix about 1/2 oz to 1 gallon so it goes far. I would also add about 1/2 teaspoon of liquid dish soap as a sticker because the Stink Bug has a tough shell and this will make sure the insecticide sticks.
