We moved into our home 27 years ago,and fond a deep red rose, it has 17plus petals, grows to about 7 ft, flowers from early spring to Christmas, has big hips if not pruned back. It was old when we moved in. It is deeply scented and as it ages it fades from dark red to very dark red. mostly one rose per stem but some have 2-3 buds.Upright form Can you help identify this rose please.
AnswerBecause there are over 200 roses introduced each year, it is impossible to identify a rose. All I can tell you is that there were three red roses on the market 30 years ago that were called Oklahoma, Mr. Lincoln and Chrysler Imperial which it could be that is only a wild guess.
