Question
I have knockout rose bushes that look almost dead. No blooms at all. Could my chickens and rooster be eating the bushes?

Answer
Roses are tasty for birds and even the little ones will take off the buds when they are new. If the leaves look like they are hacked then it will be the chickens. Also although chicken manure is a good fertilizer, it usually has to be watered down or mixed as it has too much lime in it for roses roots.
