Drooping roses

Question
I have 6 roses planted in same area. They all get the same amount of light and water. The Brandy has some drooping buds the last 2 years. Not all buds droop but it seems like the ones I want to cut for bouquets are the drooping ones and they don't look nice.

Answer
As I can't see the rose bush, I will give you the different ways a bloom can be effected. There are a few reasons that rose buds will droop. If the canes have become thin and long, then the rose will be too heavy and will bend over. Lack of water when the rose is blooming makes the canes weaker. Rose borers in the canes stop nutrients from getting to the flowers. Rose midges lay the eggs at the base of the rose buds and so damage the new blooms. Sometimes a tree or shrub nearby is taking up the water and leaving too little for the rose. Some sprays will even damage the flowers. Also many times, drooping flowers when others of the same name are doing fine, is due to something damaging the roots.
