Hi Lynnete,
How are you? I'm wondering if you might suggest some roses for a trellis I have here at my home in New Jersey. It's only a small 5 foot one I built myself. I have had miniature roses out there the past few years, but they never get very high. It's a south facing side of the house, but it gets filtered sunlight due to a large oak tree. Thanks.

A shorter type of climber would be nice on your trellis such as Aloha, Blossomtime, Dublin Bay or Parade. These few can be kept down low by simply pruning them back each spring. If you wanted a mini climber on the trellis, then an ideal mini climber would be Jeanne La Joie. This one would grow tall enough to look attractive on your smaller type trellis.
