QuestionMy rose bushes have brown mold spots on the leaves. I have been treating them every week to every two weeks and from the ground to half way up is leafless due to the disease. Should I cut them all the way back, pluck the rest of the dead leaves off and cont. treating them or any other help would be great. I live in Thibodaux Louisiana. Thanks.
AnswerCan I please get some extra information from you as there are two types of molds and both are not treated the same. The grey mold is the easiest to get rid of. 2 tablespoons of baking soda in 4 quarts of water sprayed daily until there are no more signs will get rid of the grey. The white is different and requires a totally different approach. What is the colour of the mold when it first shows up? Thanks.
