QuestionI am hoping that you can help me. I am getting married in September and am having a two tone orange rose called 慴 Happy?or 慴e happy? I was hoping to get 4 plants of this rose as presents for close family member but the florist has stated that this is not possible since the rose only exists as a cutting rose. Is this true? Is it possible that they just give it another name? If it is true that these are just grown for the trade is it at all possible to buy plants for roses that are grown for florists
AnswerWhat a good idea but i'm afraid the florist is correct. Florist's roses are grown all their life in a greenhouse and would not survive outside in any cold temperatures. Many times they are grown in far away places such as Ecuador or Chile. To buy any florists roses you would have to go through a florists shop.
