QuestionMy Dad planted a florabunda rose bush on the south side of our house over 50 years ago, in southeastern South Dakota, zone 4. Believe it or not, it is still there! How do I go about getting a cutting or slip from this bush to start my own bush?
AnswerYou can get another identical bush like your fathers by taking cuttings and some will grow into the same rose bush. Just make sure you take at least ten cuttings as some make not strike. here is a website that will show you in photos how to go about making another rose bush from cuttings. Follow the directions for the softwood cuttings.
