QuestionI just picked a single stem rose (only 1 hip) with two full rose flowers on it. I have never seen this. Is this very unusual? I did take pics.........
AnswerThe world is getting some strange springs that are not usually normal for many regions. Lots of gardeners are getting what is known as proliferation on their roses. This is thought to be caused by a hormonal abnormality. It will regress to a single bloom in the next flush.
