I live in Northeastern Montana, and I would like to know when I can start using miracle grow on my roses. They were planted about 3 years ago, but this year it looks like they could use a little help. Thank you.

The ideal time to start using a fertilizer on roses is when they are starting to leaf out in the spring. This is the time they are most active and fertilizer helps them off to a good start. If your roses look a little sad, give them a light pruning as this will also activate them into better growth.
