my rosebush leaves are getting black spots then turnyellow the flowers are beautiful on the new groth.my red rosebuds start turning black on the edges of the bud so theyseldom open up. what should i do?

Your rose has an insect called a Rose midge in the rose buds. The eggs are laid in the early spring and when they hatch out they eat the flower buds which damages the bloom.  Ortho Rose And Flower Insect Spray will get rid of the rose midges and so should solve your problem. When you spray, make sure you also spray all around the base of the rose bush as that is where the adults are coming from to lay their eggs.
The black spots on the leaves are a rose fungal disease called Black Spot. Again Ortho puts out a good spray for this problem too called Ortho Rose Pride. Just follow the instructions on the label.
