QuestionI have a very large back yard and would love to plant Double Knock Out Roses everywhere. I would like to know if I can reroot from one of my Knock Out Roses to start another one instead of buying so many at the store. One of the stems broke off accidentely so I thought maybe I could reroot it. Hope I can. I live in zone 6 in N.C. Thanks for your help.

AnswerStarting roses from a piece of cane is a good idea and it is fun to watch the new plants grow into rose bushes. Here is a good web site that will guide you through the different ways to do it. Knock Out shouldn't be too difficult to start. However they little plants will have to stay in a pot for at least a year as they will be too frail to go through one to your winters.
