Seven Sisters clippings

Question
How does one get a start from an older Seven Sisters rose bush? I want to start some from my Mother's in Chattanooga, Tn.  I live just below Knoxville, Tn.   Thank You, Janie

Answer
Seven Sisters strikes quite easily so you shouldn't have any problems getting a new rose bush. Just remember to take at least ten cuttings as sometimes, for no reason, they decide not to grow. You can do it now or in the fall but usually best in the spring before they have flowered. In the fall you take the 8 inch cuttings from the tips of branches that have flowered. Same in the spring. Here are a couple of web sites that tell you all about it.
