QuestionOrange roses are my favorite color and many you see aren't always a true orange. I see alot of peach, or yellow with tints of orange or red, or pink with tints of orange.
I have two kinds I would love to have identified. both given to me in floral arangements.
one was a set of MANY MANT tiny, BRIGHT orange roses, with frilly petals. When I put them in a vase I discovered that they were clusteres, many long thin stems attached to a larger long stem. there were 3 or four[don't rememeber] clusters in the arrangement. They also were COVERED in MANY MANY tiny little thorns all over the stems. They dried out to a lovely light orange and pink though they didn't apear pink when fresh.
the other I can include a picture for...
They are large long stem medium roses bought for me this valentines day.
they are only slighty curly on the ends of the petals.
My grandmother has had a great luck at rooting and growing cut floral roses in spain and, despite the hotter climate here, I'm hoping with her help I can get them to grow here in florida because they are the most beautiful long stems I have ever received.

AnswerIt is almost impossible to correctly identify a florist rose. The reason is because florist get their roses flown in from different countries. It could be an orange rose from California or it could be from Ecuador. As you can see it would be impossible to be correct. However if you knew the florist where the roses were bought, they will have a record of the name and where they are from.
