Last year friends bought me a long=stemmed rose tree to commemorate my husband's death.  I did not know you were supposed to leave the tag on the tree.  How do I find out the name of the rose?  It is long-stemmed, and deep, deep pink in color.  It would have been purchased from the garden department at the local OSH (Santa Maria, CA).  Any suggestions?

The only place that would know the correct name of your rose would be where it was purchased. They usually have a list of the roses they bought that year. Every year there are many roses introduced and any suggestions would be an incorrect guess. Send them an email explaining how important the rose was and what the occasion it was for and ask if they could tell you the name of it. They might even have a phone number you could get in touch with and explain what you want.
