QuestionHi, I just bought 3 carpet roses. The instruction says that I should plant them 3-4 feet apart. Is the spacing providing more health to the plant? Can I plant them just 2 feet apart?
Thanks

AnswerPlanting instructions are mainly how large the rose will grow without hard pruning. It depends what your weather is like, but if you have warm winters, then carpet roses will grow 6 feet wide if not pruned back hard in the spring. they tend to grow up and then outwards and 2 feet means they will be growing into each other even with hard pruning. In a cold winter 2 feet is okay.
