I am a new rose gardener. Do Princess Diana roses only bloom once a year? I love the rose and picked it for its beauty but was not sure about pruning it or is it too late? I was expecting more blooms.

Princess Diana blooms in what is called flushes. That means it will bloom once in early summer and then wait a few weeks and blooms again. If the rose has just been planted then it will take another year to get more flowers. If you have just got this rose then don't prune it this year. Wait until next spring and prune it back about a third.
